Real
Madrid president Florentino Perez has told superstar forward Cristiano
Ronaldo that he will no longer be allowed to travel to Morocco to visit
professional kickboxer Badr Hari, whom the Portuguese star shares a
close relationship with.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are believed to finally be ready to put their foot down on the matter.
It was reported last month by the French media that Ronaldo
visits Hari at least four times a week, and even claimed that the pair
could be in a romantic relationship together, and it is has allegedly
taken a huge toll on the player's performances in training.
Ronaldo
would embark on trips to Marrakesh on his private jet, and various
pictures of Hari and himself have emerged on social media, sparking
concern from officials inside Madrid.
Perez
in particular is amongst those wanting Ronaldo to knuckle down and work
harder in training, and himself issued the ban to the Ballon d'Or
runner up himself.
New
manager Zinedine Zidane will back the move from Perez, knowing that he
will need Ronaldo firing on all cylinders if Real are going to have any
chance of stealing a march on the title from rivals Barcelona.
Despite
his off the field troubles, Ronaldo has still managed 27 goals in all
competitions, but just 16 in the league; which can be considered
disappointing by Ronaldo's high standards.
