About us
Financial Emancipation and Youth Empowerment in Nigeria – FEYEN is a youth movement founded in order to provide a forum and avenue through which Nigerian youths can come together as one body with a common purpose and one voice, working together towards confronting our common enemy which is unemployment and lack of investment opportunities for the Nigerian youths. FEYEN was created out of divine inspiration and revelation and our main purpose is to work together as a very powerful movement to address the problems of Nigerian youths in securing a reliable means of livelihood. These problems, which we hope to eradicate through the cooperative efforts of our strong union members and supporters.
Our Plans, Dreams and Visions
Our plan for the moment is to recruit as many Nigerian youths as possible thus giving us the power to speak with one voice and agitate for what is rightfully ours. This membership of this movement is strictly online so as to enable us manage the membership records as the group gets larger. However, in future we plan to be holding a national convention at least once a year to discuss our challenges. Registration and continued membership is free but voluntary contribution is as well welcomed. The leadership committee of this group would be decided through online polls. Qualification would to contest for any leadership position will be subject to some certain laid down rules which include membership age of not less than two years starting from the day of your registration. Through our online forums we plan to be sending out free e-books, videos and audios on different skill acquisition programs, professional courses, and how to source for capital but strictly downloadable only by our members. We shall also be sharing genuine employment opportunities and recruitment processes going on in Nigeria. Every member must possess a unique serial number that will be sent to him/her after registration in order to authenticate his/her membership. Every member is also expected to share business/investment and genuine employment opportunities (if he so wishes) to only our members. This forum will also create avenue for members to share their business ideas and other ideas on things happening around them and get suggestion from our esteemed members.
It is strongly adviced that every of our member should try and collect his/her a voter’s card. Our plan is to get as large as possible in number thereby affording us the necessary bargaining and voting power. By so doing therefore, we can negotiate and come to terms with our preferred candidate (the candidate that has the most concrete and realistic plan towards creating employment for our members and also providing government grants for our members who already has acquired useful skills through this forum) by so doing we can vote in and vote out any candidate of our choice and this will force any incumbent leader to take our bargains seriously any time. Since they already know that we can always vote them out, they would be forced to live to their campaign promises to us.
Nigeria has more than 60 million youths and just 20% of this number which is 12million is enough to vote in or vote out any even the president of Nigeria. You can begin to imagine the kind of power we can control if only we can come together with just one voice and fight for our common interest which building a future for ourselves and our generation. We shall be conducting an online poll through this forum to decide who our best candidate is finally and any counter motion would be convinced to join the majority.
